Not necessarily. Medication is one treatment option and is recommended only when clinically appropriate. We believe in shared decision-making and will discuss the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives so you can make informed choices about your care.

When clinically appropriate, stimulant and non-stimulant medications may be prescribed following a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.

Medication management appointments include supportive therapy, education, and practical coping strategies when appropriate. If ongoing psychotherapy would be beneficial, we are happy to coordinate care with your therapist or help connect you with one.
